With the approaching cold days it is worth thinking about how winter impacts kissing. There are actually quite a few things that change when we move into winter time. It’s worth to take them into account when planning kissing in winter.
Kissing outside encounters new difficulties.
Long kisses moisturizes our lips them and the skin around them, what exposes them even more to the bites of frost. You may sometimes see a person and recognize that they’ve been kissing in the cold by the red skin around their lips. When you’re kissing in the cold, remember to take care of your lips afterwards. When you are somewhere warm again, pun cream on them to help them recover.
If your partner’s lips are sore from the cold, kissing might be painful for them. They may be shy to tell you about it, but avoid kissing without explanation. Be mindful.
Kissing with all the warm clothes on you will not be the same. Wrapped in the worm jackets, scarfs and gloves, we will have much more difficulty in putting our arms into play. All these things, like getting your hand under your partners T-shirts to stroke their back are a definite NO in the cold.
In general, if you plan to do a lot of kissing, we would recommend meeting somewhere inside, not in the cold.
After all these negatives, it’s time to look at the positive side of winter.
The first one is romance. When summer is all about passion and strong desires, long, cold evenings create a perfect scene for romance. Stay in together, have warm tea or chocolate and converse for hours. Or, better yet – wrap yourselves in a blanket, feel each others warmth, find each other’s lips… and kiss for long hours…
And remember, winter will soon pass and warm days will come again, bringing all the joys of kissing outside – in the sun.
